File System State Monitor

The File System State Monitor keeps track of the state of any number
of paths and will fire events when said state changes
(create/update/delete). FSSM supports using FSEvents on MacOS, Inotify
on GNU/Linux, and polling anywhere else.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
