The kdepimlibs package includes libraries that are central to the development and execution of a KDE-PIM application. The KDE-PIM project aims to bring together those who wish to help design, implement, test, etc. anything that's to do with personal information management. This rather broad scope encompasses mail clients, addressbooks, usenet news, scheduling and even sticky notes. Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
