Tool for static C/C++ code analysis

cppcheck is a tool for static C/C++ code analysis intended to
complement the checking of the compiler.  It checks for memory
leaks, mismatching allocation-deallocation, buffer overrun, unused
functions, coding style, and much more.

Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
