The directories under here contain snapshot builds from either the main trunk
of the NetBSD source tree or a specific branch.

The current build list is as follows:

HEAD - the main trunk of the NetBSD source tree
netbsd-4   - The branch tracking the 4.0 release branch (to become NetBSD 4.1)
netbsd-4-0 - The branch tracking the security/critical fixes for NetBSD 4.0
netbsd-3   - The branch tracking the 3.0 release branch (to become NetBSD 3.2)
netbsd-3-0 - The branch tracking the security/critical fixes for NetBSD 3.0
netbsd-3-1 - The branch tracking the security/critical fixes for NetBSD 3.1

Any other builds that appear in this area are generally release candidate
builds for an upcoming release. They should not be used or downloaded until
an official announcement for them has been made on the NetBSD web site and
the netbsd-announce mailing list.
